Hello everyone!! I hope everyone had a great Christmas! I am currently in Sarnia with my family and heading to New York in a few days for more family time!
It is nearly time to ring in the New Year and so begins resolutions and goal setting for 2017. I personally love New Years resolutions and setting goals for the year ahead. Of course resolutions can sometimes become unrealistic but I feel that they are great for goal setting and beginning the new year feeling ambitious and excited!
My sister and I are going to go to a coffee chop on the 31st and write down our goals of what we want to accomplish for the year!
When it comes to resolutions I try to think 3-5 that are realistic and measurable and attempt to accomplish them throughout the entire year.
When I started eating healthy (which was a new years goal), I started really educating myself on different diets and different avenues of healthy eating and lifestyle. If one of your goals for 2017 is to better your diet and get your health on track, there are a ton of movies and books that can quickly educate you on healthy diets with accompanying research.
The research on diet these days and the hundreds of fad diets on the market at the moment make it extremely difficult to know what is right, what you should be cutting out or what you should be adding in to your diet. I mention in my About Page that I follow a mainly Paleo approach to diet and lifestyle and that was after a lot trial and error and a lot of research of my own to come to these conclusions of what my body needs to thrive. There are some really good movies and books that helped me educate myself to a healthy diet and lifestyle.
